I've a bit of a strange issue with printing word documents. Occasionally when printing a document, it will drop the last 'l' from a word on the print. It's always an 'l', and it's always on the end of a word.

I've no idea what is causing this, as it is random - different documents, different forms, some just letters created in house

Can anyone point me in the direction of what could be causing this?

Always the end of a word, can be in the middle of a line?

Always only lower case Ls?

Any font? Any printer? PDF?

Will the same file always drop the same Ls?

Always the end of a word, but yes can be mid line. Always lower case Ls, and different fonts.

Doesn't happen with PDF

Same file doesn't always do it - it's seemingly random

I remember a similar issue a few years ago, was something to do with universal print drivers being used. Suggest updating the driver direct from the manufacturer and see what that does

Kyocera drivers are a bit crap, try the PS version perhaps? Got any other printers to test with different drivers?

Turn on print preview in the driver.
