Hi guys. Have Paxton Server installed at one site. I've used port forwarding to get controllers added to server from a 2nd remote site. I have installed the Net2 Client software on one of the client's remote sites but I can't make it see the server. Just trying to port forward the server ip address but I'm not sure which ports are required to be forwarded or if any settings on the server are required to achieve that. I've managed to install the client software on several client's machines but on the same site/network with the server but now I'm trying to establish communication between the server and a client installed on a remote site. Any ideas, much appreciated

Have you configured the default gateway in the controllers?

I don’t think what you’re doing is a good idea. You will be better off setting up a site to site VPN instead.

With net2 client running on a lan run

netstat -a -b -n -o

to see what connections it's making, then replicate those ports

How will you make sure it's secure?

If Windows Firewall enabled is enabled on the server switch on logging.

But really as others have said a proper link or a site to site VPN is much more secure.
