Hi,

Currently in the process of updating our start menu layout as requested by a member of staff.

I've added the shortcut to the all apps start menu and also updated the start layout xml file to include the path to the new shortcut.

After logging in as Test User 1, the shortcut in the all apps menu appears but doesn't appear within the start tiles.

Then when logging in as Test User 2, the shortcut in the all apps menu appears but the shortcut appears fine within the start tiles.

Test User 1 for some reason won't apply the updated start layout. Anyone got any ideas as to why this could be?

Cheers

They're set to delete if not logged in after 30 days.

I did the following:

- Logged in as Test User 1

- Logged out then created shortcut within share as well as updating start tile

- Rebooted PC (redirected start menus and start layout xml files copy to folder on C:\ drive on startup where then redirected to by user policy)

- Logged in as Test User 1 to test new shortcut and start tile

We have had some problems with the start menu not loading the layout. No idea if this will help with the problem your having though but might be worth a shot.
