  1. Report her to management for defacing a 2-3k+ bit of equipment.
  2. I'm not sure if its of any help but the only one I know of is https://www.tinkercad.com/
  3. Get this all the time, a few times a week of the normal "I can't find my work" or "Onedrive keeps deleting my files" and the favourite "I have spent hours on this one file and went to save it once at the end and it crashed". Ask all the normal questions, Where was it, what was it called, what was its contents, what device where you working on and what software was it in word, excel etc.....the amount of students that can't even tell you if it was a word doc or a spreadsheet is shocking and worrying. Mind you saying that when you have to write down their very simple 3 word password after a reset you realise just how far gone the gene pool is.
  4. Down detector went crazy, every service was getting reports. Looks ok now.
  5. You would be insane to use wireless K+M in a classroom, its never going to work well. I have yet to meet a teacher that cares/has the ability to stop students wrecking IT equipment. We sell ours back to the supplier and buy wired ones. We have gone down the mac mini with a standard 24" screen route instead of imacs, meant we could actually buy more and they have 2 USB A connectors.
  6. I never put in the cmd.exe bit for my command lines, just the command I want to run. Try this as powershell. $Account = "Student" $Password = "Student" cmd /c "net user $Account $Password /add /comment:""Student"" " cmd /c "WMIC USERACCOUNT WHERE ""Name='$Account'"" SET PasswordExpires=FALSE"
  7. Your not alone. We have had real trouble using 5m HDMI cables in the trunking on the wall, we started using the shortest cables we can get away with. Have been temped to try fibre hdmi cables. I have one at home that works great for gaming on my TV from my PC at 4k60.
  8. I use NTlite to customize all our ISOs for SCCM/manual installs. For manually capturing/coping a syspreped image I use LFsoft active boot disc. This is only for our quarantine network, we use SCCM for everything else.
  9. The students know their teachers are stupid already
  10. I bought a fibre hdmi cable so i could game at 4k60 on my 75" TV using my PC upstairs. It has worked well for me so far. Just note they are directional. https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B07RMTF6P7/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
  11. Has anyone had the Dynabook E10s? We are looking at splitting out allocation between ipads and these look very close to the Geo books.
  12. We have just been told we are getting 250 devices. Hoping to god we can choose anything but these things.
  13. Have you tried to run sysprep by it self so you can get the sysprep log file? I had to remove a language experience from our 1909 images every time. Get-AppxPackage –Name *LanguageExperience* | Remove-AppxPackage
  14. Have you disabled internet access on that vm before removing any of the apps?
