IPads - Moving from MDM to Microsoft Intune

We are managing our iPads through a MDM at the moment. Now we have moved to 0365 and planning to use Microsoft Intune .

 

Let me know your experiences of setting up and enrolling the iPads with Microsoft Intune.

It’s a horrible MDM.....but potentially free if included in your licensing.

 

I use it and it works OK but is nowhere near as neat or good as JAMF or some of the others

If your teachers are using Apple Classroom or have shared iPads across school then prepare not not to able to use these great features, Intune does not support either of these.

I agree with the above, however there is some support for classroom and shared iPads:

I looked at it, but at the time we were running out ipads down so it wasn’t worth the effort or compromise (which were greater in the past).

Got told last year to move from Mosyle to Intune, i refused, said if it has to be done i won't be doing it. I love Intune don't get me wrong but it's current iPad management is lacking to say the least.

 

I ended up putting 1 iPad on Intune and showing the difference between Mosyle and Intune.. to which they said fair enough and we stayed with Mosyle
