Enhanced Wireless Survey

Hello All

 

Can anyone suggest a vendor who can provide a detailed Wireless Survey? By detailed I mean it needs to have the following:

 

Coverage 2.4Ghz /5Ghz

Signal Strength 2.4Ghz /5Ghz

SNR

Data Rate

Channel Overlap

Spectrum Utilisation

Airtime Utilisation

Rogue Access Points

Load Testing**

 

** It is this area that I am struggling to get assessed. I know Wireless Load testers exist but my usual go to companies do not offer this as part of their service.

Tell them what your minimum throughtput needs to be per station. Have a chat with them they really know what they are doing, and they will happily design a network for you to procure from others - so their advice can be viewed as independent.

 

I've got an awseome network - but when you get 25+ workstations pulling 100's of 100Mb files you get a few Mb/s per client throughput - that's just the nature of the wifi shared medium. (we ran tests across six rooms with 3 aps and 120 devices, using in turn meraki, aruba and aerohive - for our purposes they all dropped to similar throughput rates at similar times, with Aruba handling it best).
