3 x Dell r610 free to a school that NEEDS them

Hi all,

 

We went S2D almost a year ago and I can't bring myself to "dispose" of the older servers. I feel another school that might benefit from them if they have really old server/s that are struggling. I could just give them to our WEE waste company if we have no takers.

 

I understand that these go for "couple of hundred quid" on auction sites etc, but time is money and it's not worth all the associated hassle. As such our business manager has ok'd the donation of these to another education establishment as long as they understand they are "as is" and are collection only.

 

We are based in Bolton/Manchester

 

These are fully functional with server rack arms, etc with the below specs

 

models are 3 x r610 1u

We have some small schools in Staffordshire that would love these, if you have no local takers I can arrange to pick these up at some point.

We would be interested in these (primary school in Burnley so not to far!) looking to upgrade our aging HP core2 server and maybe setup a few VMs
