Adding new extention to our NEC SV9100 Phone System

We were quoted £1000 for 5 new IP extensions to be added to our NEC SV9100 phone system, excluding installation and licensing. Therefore we decided to go down the refurb/self installation route. We picked up 5 DT700 at £35 each. However, now it comes to installation I'm struggling. I don't seem to be able to find any step by step guides and PC/Web Pro is so intimidating. Has anyone come across any decent documentation on how to this?

Have you got nec licenses for the phones on the phone system?

 

This licensing model is exactly why we started looking at ditching our old nec and ended up moving to 3cx, plus better features and ease of management.

I think I figured it out, our provider imported additional licenses and this reflected within PCPro. However, when I connected a new extension it said full port, which indicates no available licenses. Somewhere else (can't remember where) within PCPro the number of licences had to be manually entered.

 

Since I updated this, the IP of new extension shows up on my list of extensions, just gotta check it's working tomorrow

 

Unfortunately we're stuck in a contract for another 2 years as soon as that's up we'll be ditching it for something like 3CX
