Hi

Normally we supply teachers an i3 or i5 laptop and will not go lower spec. With all the zoom teaching teachers are looking for the surface / touchscreen laptops. Has anyone teachers using the surface go / tablets with pentium cpus and how do they find them speed wise.

Was looking at these as they were a good price but could have an i5 laptop for the same cost

Latitude 3190 2in1

Intel Pentium N5030 (Quad Core, up to 3.1 GHz, 4M Cache, 6W)

Windows 10 Pro 64bit, English, Dutch, French, German, Italian

8GB LPDDR4, 2400 MHz

M.2 256GB PCIe NVMe Class 35 Solid State Drive

Thanks

How does a tablet or touchscreen affect Zoom use practically - does it give much of a worthwhile enhancement? The performance of a device with an N3050 compared to a recent i3/i5 or Ryzen will be pretty poor where any processor power is needed. That may mean that the lifetime of the product is much less as a result.
