SIMS - Import Behaviour Points from CSV/XLSX

Afternoon all,

 

Just looking for some advice on the most efficient way to import behaviour data into SIMS.

 

Currently, for various reasons, form tutors input a total amount of behaviour points for the previous week into a spreadsheet (has columns for the types of behaviour incidents). Our Data Team have to then take these spreadsheets and one by one go into each student and add a new behaviour incident and adjust the 'points' value to reflect the total number in the spreadsheet.

 

Is there a way to construct a spreadsheet similar to the following:

If we were to then save this as a whole-school spreadsheet, is there any way in SIMS to import this spreadsheet and SIMS automatically adds new behaviour events with the specified points values for each student? This would save our data team literally days of time as they could just download the spreadsheet from our shared area, stick it in SIMS and press go, rather than doing it by hand?

 

We're running an on-site SIMS server and access SIMS using the SIMS.NET Desktop Application for Windows.
