Bluetooth Webcam?

I've got this mad idea that I can give my staff a Bluetooth webcam with their Surface Pro, so when they walk into a classroom, they can put the camera in the agreed location, start lesson on Teams and use that camera rather than one of the Surface cameras.

 

But, I can't find such a camera, do they exist?

I don't think so since Bluetooth wouldn't provide enough bandwidth for high-res video.

Bluetooth 5 is 2Mbps at its most perfect, so in theory it COULD do video, but I wouldn't wanna risk it!

I don't think anyone has even attempted to create a bluetooth webcam yet.

Perhaps with future versions of BT we might see it happen.

You could maybe try an ethernet or wifi IP camera instead? I'm sure there must be a driver or app somewhere which could make an IP camera appear as a device which Teams could use?

Problem I can see with that is what would stop just anyone accessing the camera? It would need to either be locked down heavily on the network level or protected with passwords. If the latter then I cant see it being compatible with Teams, but I could be wrong.
