ajames Posted July 6, 2020 Posted July 6, 2020 Hi all, need some help, had an sccm server working for years, end of last year deployed 360 computers via pxe for our new school setup, tried to pxe boot a few last week, it gets to the checking media presence, media present, start pxe over ipv4 on mac...... Stays on that for a few minutes and then goes to a dell support assistant, scanning for potential problems, so it is not finding the server to connect to find the image, these are brand new computers that have never been conneted to the network before. Looking at the pxe smspx.log there are a lot of red lines highlighting RequestMPKeyInformation: Send() failed, capture attahced. Does anyone have any info that could help me out with this.
6Foot2 Posted July 6, 2020 Posted July 6, 2020 A mistake I sometimes make: Are these machines new to the network, or are they existing? (Are they known to SCCM?) Our SCCM set up does not let us rebuild 'known' stations unless they have been moved in to the 'Build' collection, or they have been deleted from SCCM first (same for yours, I expect) Apologies if this is too obvious.
