Teams - Can two Teams share the same meeting?

Two teachers teach the same subject at the same time and want to have one lesson instead of them both doing separate lessons, there's two Teams created with each Teacher in their own Team, can this be achieved?

Sort of, is going to be my answer. When you create the meeting on the calendar you can invite multiple groups. However you can only meet in one Team + Channel. So for students not in the team you've meeting in, they won't get:

Ability to then join the meeting from post, due to the above

They need to accept the meeting, so it's put in there calendar and then they can join (Or click in the link in the email)

They won't get the recording, if you record lessons, in the posts area of the team. However they can view it if a link is sent out later by the teacher (If your invited to a meeting, you can view the recording)

 

So as you can see, yes you can but you use some functions from it. It's like asking the class next door to come in to your lesson. They can watch, but they'll have to stand at the back and can't take notes as there's no desks.
