Roberto Posted June 19, 2020 Posted June 19, 2020 (edited) To be honest, I thought that site was a scam when I first clicked the link. Full of errors, omissions and typos and it looks like someone got their 10 year old nephew who is “good with computers, you should see him on his xbox” to do the website design. Shockingly unprofessional... But if the kit’s good and isn’t a front for Crazy Vaclav’s place of computers then fair enough. Edited June 19, 2020 by Roberto
fiza Posted June 30, 2020 Posted June 30, 2020 Does anyone know if the spec of the Chromebooks is good enough for student use in Secondary School?
DavidYoung Posted June 30, 2020 Posted June 30, 2020 Does anyone know if the spec of the Chromebooks is good enough for student use in Secondary School? Should be. They are AMD ones which I don't know how it compares with the Celeron ones but we gave our sixth form students AMD Chromebooks last year and they've been fine. The rest of the specs are standard Chromebook specs really and plenty powerful for secondary. Remember, Chrome runs on far less than Windows and we've seen this with Neverware (another LGfL deal) on PCs which were dire with Windows on but perfectly usable with ChromeOS. 2
fiza Posted September 9, 2020 Posted September 9, 2020 Has anyone purchased the Lenovo 100e Chromebooks through LGfL? If so how are you getting on with them? We are looking to purchase.
Norphy Posted September 9, 2020 Posted September 9, 2020 I think we've tried to but the ETA keeps getting pushed back because everyone and his dog is trying to get one.
paulkerton Posted September 9, 2020 Posted September 9, 2020 It seems Lenovo have purchased almost every Celeron processor in the world too. Very hard to get Chromebooks in general at the moment, other than through a few providers! 1
VeryPC Posted September 9, 2020 Posted September 9, 2020 It seems Lenovo have purchased almost every Celeron processor in the world too. Very hard to get Chromebooks in general at the moment, other than through a few providers! One of those providers is us! We're able to hold of Chromebooks. We actually sold quite a few today as a matter of fact! Drop us a PM @paulkerton if you need any assistance. That goes for any other EduGeek's out there too. By the way, have you all grabbed your free pair of VeryPC socks yet? - Ryan
fiza Posted September 22, 2020 Posted September 22, 2020 Has anyone purchased the Lenovo 100e Chromebooks through LGfL? IF so do you have any feedback on the process and reviews of the Chromebooks? We want to order but I wanted to get some feedback first.

IF so do you have any feedback on the process and reviews of the Chromebooks? We want to order but I wanted to get some feedback first. I did some research. They are cheap and cheerful. I saw a couple of americans reviewing the device on youtube.. Plastic.. camera works. Google classroom will work. If it breaks replace.... Expect sound to be bad apparently. Just remember the price.. you get what you pay for. Remember this too.. there is a looooong delay time. Orders placed in July due to come in, in October. Hopefully they join google chromebook device management ok... and the wifi is decent. I hope this is ok.. will try to test it once they come in! 5nowman
