Working Hours: Full time (with some out of hours working required to support pre-planned events)

Working directly with the Network Manager and the Data Manager, the IT/AV Technician will provide first line support and will therefore play a key client facing role in the department. Although the roles are separate, the team works closely together, working from one office, with as much sharing of knowledge as possible and training on new technologies. Within the school, the IT department works closely with academic and support staff departments, with strategic direction provided currently by the Director of Studies.

 

We seek to appoint someone who has the vision, enthusiasm and energy to help further develop the work of the department, alongside contributing to the wider life of the school. This is a dual role assisting the Network Manager in the provision of IT Support as well taking the lead maintaining the Audio/Visual equipment including sound and lighting and providing support for productions and functions when required and working alongside the Head of Performing Arts. This post offers an exciting challenge for someone with initiative and imagination.
