Microsoft Teams How can you disable students being able to receive video calls/meets?

So we've managed to stop students making video calls, but the school wants to block their ability to receive video from staff in meetings, while if possible, maintaining the ability of staff to hold video meetings between staff.

Is this possible?

That's what they're having to do currently, it's been asked if it can be done automatically (you know how some teachers are at forgetting things even if it's themselves staring themselves in the face)

You could change a setting within their selected policy to disable IP Video BUT it disables it so they cannot override it for

All meetings.

So if you want staff to be able to show their cams in staff meetings then best not to change the policy and just keep reminding them to turn of their cams before the start the meeting.

Does that disable the audio too?

No it doesn’t - not sure if there is a policy setting for audio.

I know staff can mute all audio with in the team - but there is nothing from stopping people from re-enabling the audio themselves
