Timetabling software

As we move into this new world of potentially having 1 year group in school per day, or many variations on a theme, I wondered if anyone knew of timetabling software that could cope with these issues better than Nova? We're considering using Excel, but i was hoping there would be a standalone package that ties into our MIS, and enables a far more flexible approach.

NT6 is, bizarrely, the only one I know of. Often thought there's a gap in the market there...

Timetabler is more capable than Nova, has good support and is reasonably priced.

Not heard of any sorry. I think they give free trials and some of the resources are free and pretty good for any timetabler anyway.

They offer a lot of free help and support: tutorial videos, articles in their Knowledge Base, Help Screens and lots of other free resources etc. But I found that I didn't actually need most of it cos TimeTabler is just really easy and intuitive to use. It's saved me so many hours since I switched from Nova, it was really quick to export into our MIS too.
