Teams - Add group to a Team

I was able to do this last week. Now can't. Is this because Teams is struggling or has something changed that I'm not aware of?

I found I had to do it from Portal.office.com, you can add a group to the Teams group, but not directly to the team.

If you do it from the team itself when you are in the add members section it will work better and quicker.

Thats how i did it when everything went up because of the volume hitting MS

Even this wasn't working, I could add users, not groups

Found the issue.

 

Last week I turn this feature on as searching for people in Teams was showing up old accounts. Since that happened we were not able to add groups. Turned it off last night, a few hours later I was able to add groups to a team.
