I have a Low profile card that currently has a standard size HDMI and DVI output bracket. The bracket has a metal spur that has a small thread that screws to the motherboard. I presume it's an earth connection, but that's pure speculation. I will now be putting this card in a SFF PC, so I have a LP replacement bracket but it does not have the additional fixing point - in fact so far I haven't found one available that does. Is this a concern? I can add photo's if it helps.

Could be. Photos attached. First image shows the strap towards the top of the bracket. Second shows the fixing screw connecting the strap to the motherboard just below and to the left of the HDMI connector.
