Old DDR2 ram - what to do with them

Like many others I suspect, we have an amount of DDR2 ram that no longer fits any computer (the last of the core2duos are all but gone and anything upwards of this uses ddr3).

 

Is there anywhere that may buy these off us as a job lot, or are we best to hand them to next computer recycling? Mixed 1GB/2GB sticks.

2GB sticks still have some use - I have quite a few machines still using them (HP DC7800). Try flogging them?

Hold onto them until the retro gaming craze starts to envolp the DDR2 era then ebay them.

I have an old Gigabyte motherboard with an AMD 64 CPU on there with a whole raft of DDR2 (silly amounts really) in the attic waiting for the day*

 

 

 

*That and I can't bear to throw out working stuff.

Use some hot glue and glue them together to make a wreath like we did for Christmas at my old school

If I thought I could swap them for fewer in DDR3 sticks that would be the ideal, but I know that isn't a realistic ambition!
