Replacement GPU bracket ASUS NVIDIA GeForce STRIX-GTX1050TI

I have a graphics card that's had it's I/O plate bent 90 degrees on one corner (top corner near the DP port), so the top mounting won't fit neatly in a PC case. Any idea if I bend it back whether it will immediately sheer? I have approached Asus and they say they can't supply a replacement and as shown in this picture it isn't generic. They suggest ebay/aliexpress but I couldn't locate anything. It appears to have a part number of KY B1112-A0 but it hasn't helped my searching. Any suggestions anyone?

Could you get one 3d printed? We replace a lot of damaged brackets this way.

I wondered about that - do they come up thicker than the metal ones? At the moment I don't have access to a 3D printer but in about 3 weeks it's my birthday - perhaps it's time to hit the 3D printing market - I'm always being asked for pressie ideas! I'm sure there are also lots of components I could print to fix things my kids have destroyed!

if you heat it you should be able to bend it back without shearing. Do you have a Technology department? they should be able to heat it using their brazing torch and help you straighten it out.

It would depend entirely on your 3d model and the type of filament you're using I think.

We use a pair of Prusa i3 MK3 printers and they knock out some great prints.

Toughness depends on the plastic you're using as much as the design.

Just to update. I did investigate the 3D option and came close. I'm now familiar with https://www.thingiverse.com/. The had quite a few but not one for this particular card. I guess with the appropriate kit, a 3D scan can be created.

 

As it turned out, I managed to carefully bend it back in to shape with bull nosed pliers. The next bit perhaps should go in the annoying thread. Turns out installing this in the Vostro 260 Dell desktop(or maybe it's a mini tower) I have, resulted in the springy clip Dell use for toolless installs, bumps in to the GPU fan housing, so can't close the case! I suspect I can trim the plastic housing without any impact on airflow, but I'll probably put it in another PC and get something else for the Vostro.
