Got a department not happy they can't do 150 emails mail merge at once

Why do they need to do that? Genuinely curious as to why they need to personalise 150 emails in a school setting. It's more of a mass marketing thing to do that kind of stuff.

Remember there are mail limits on Gmail too. 2000 emails a day.

13 mail merges and they've hit the limit.

We found that some staff were after mail merge functionality for their classes, so that they could email their students specifically formatted results, targets, etc. from a spreadsheet. The existing tools within Classroom weren't quite the right fit for them. My colleague ended up coding an Add-on for us for Google Sheets.

Another option that we've occasionally used is to connect the Outlook desktop client to the sender's Gmail account, and then used the mail merge functionality in Word.
