Sims from home

Afternoon All. i am new here. been a member for years but just forgot all about it until the bett show this year!!! so going get involved with this site. can any one tell me the different options for schools to access sims from home? i am taking about primary schools in the kent area so schools that dont all use klz and most have their internet vai kpsn etc. just seeing what other do. thanks

Hi this would depend on if your host server is cloud based or do you have a SIMS server at the school? do you use EIS for Admin support if so they should be able to help you

good point. most of my schools have a sims server and a few have eis support for admin.

Then just need Remote APPs link setup then using KLZ credential to the schools server once there use SIMS credentials to log in, depending on the teachers home internet speed this shouldn't be a problem I have it working in some of my schools for SIMS & FMS.

thanks. yer i have that in a couple. its the schools that dont have or want klz etc that i am wondering about.......... could go down the remote server setup etc but ........
