thanks, tried that and still no joy -
Morning all, i am trying to get zettle to work on a school mobile phone that is connected to the school wifi. zettle works fine on 4g but the school has no signal near by. we use netsweeper as our firewall and have reserved the ip in dhcp and add the broadband 4 client certificate and even put the phone in the group called allow all. Zettle have not been helpful as wont tell me any sites to white list. has anyone else managed to get this service to work with in their school wifi? thanks

martinpage23 replied to martinpage23's topic in Network and Classroom Management
hi thanks for that. afternoon, I have a primary school which has 6 vlans. Its an old network and server etc which i am am trying to keep going as no money to sort just yet. Its my only place with vpns so my knowledge of them is very slight. Can you tell me where the dhcp server puts devices ( ip address) of devices that are not on a vlan? its a fire alarm contact panel that just needs an ip address and allow out side connections for call out. the device has no screen and Chubb and installed it and connected it to a network socket. they know the mac address but can't see what ip it has been given. I have gone through the each dhcp vlan address lease and its not there. any help on this would be great as i am lost..... thanks

Morning, Not sure if anyone can help. I have been told by my schools trust i have to purchase the entra P1 licence so i can setup This ids for the MFA Bypass:. I purchased the licence for one user from our microsoft reseller and it was added to the schools OVs agreement. In office 365 admin if i go to the schools licence summary it shows as being there. But no where does it show so that i can assign it to a user account. I am totally stuck on what to do. Every one i ask just say to assign it to the user account you want but its not there. I hate licensing as so confusing!!! any idea???? thanks

Morning all, can i ask if anyone else in kent has a cantium eisnet network in their school and also uses broadband4 or schools broadband with netsweeper? if you do do you ever have the issue of the netsweeper client not loading up sometimes on the class desktops etc so when the staff go to login to emails or youtube it says its blocked and when you like the client has not loaded up. The staff then restart their computer and it sometimes comes back. It only seems to be on eisnet schools . any one ????? Ta

Morning All, i am just asking for anyones views or reviews on cloud based networks for primary schools. i work at a couple of primary schools in kent and they are thinking of going down the cloud based route for their school network. i only know of one school that had it and they said it was the worst thing they ever did. can you let me know your views and who you used and also if the staff or pupils had any access to it from home and if so how you set that up? thanks Martin
