G Suite Sync for Microsoft Outlook - Distribution Groups and Contact Groups

We have 13 members of staff that use Outlook Client 2019 for various reasons, these are all mainly back office staff and have access to shared mailboxes.

We have managed to get G Suite Sync for Microsoft Outlook working as expected along with delegated accounts and shared calendars however there is just one thing left that i cannot get my head around and it's starting to bug me hence the posting on here.

The staff members that have G Suite Sync for Microsoft Outlook installed will no doubt and are wanting to use their own distribution groups (aka contact groups), these will be created in Outlook Client.

When we had Office365, this wasn't an issue as the groups were "just created" and sync'd to their online account. Gsuite has a very weird way of organising contact groups with their hideous "labels", the Contact Groups created in Outlook are not sync'd to their Google Contacts so i was wondering what others are doing in this situation? If an individual contact is created in Outlook Client the contact is sync'd to Gsuite Contacts.

Also we have found when converting contacts from Office365 to Gsuite, distribution groups / contact groups are not transfered over yet the inidividual contacts of the group are.

Can anyone shead any light on this please and to be told "ditch Outlook and use Gmail online" is not an option.

I'm confused. You've disabled users from creating groups in GSuite, but expect Outlook sync to be able to sync the user defined groups?
