MYK-IT Posted December 12, 2019 Posted December 12, 2019 Is anyone else having issues accessing Microsoft Office 365 Streams today? We are just getting a blank page (tried with Chrome, IE, clearing cache etc.) Thanks,
PhilWessell Posted December 12, 2019 Posted December 12, 2019 Same here, logged a case with Microsoft in the admin portal at 9am, got the usual response of "clear the cache" etc. Not a huge amount of people putting it on Twitter as an issue, but it's certainly being noticed here as we use it as our main source for storing videos for use in classrooms. 1
MYK-IT Posted December 12, 2019 Author Posted December 12, 2019 Thanks @PhilWessell I've even tried it externally / non-school device etc. and still the same.
PhilWessell Posted December 12, 2019 Posted December 12, 2019 Looks like it works OK through the android and IOS app, just not through the Web interface on any device. Our share point data is held in the "United Kingdom" according to the admin portal. Is yours too or does it say somewhere else?
MYK-IT Posted December 12, 2019 Author Posted December 12, 2019 Microsoft Support have (so far) advised similar to what you have been told... You can try the resolution steps below if you are using Chrome browser: • Launch Developer Tools and select the Application Tab • Expand Local Storage, right-click on web.microsoftstream.com and select clear • Expand Session storage, right-click on web.microsoftstream.com and select clear • Expand cookies, right-click on web.microsoftstream.com and select clear • Refresh the page Also, you can check if there is any service incident on Stream by navigating to https://admin.microsoft.com > Health > Service health
PhilWessell Posted December 12, 2019 Posted December 12, 2019 Looks like it's working from a different internet connection. Do you use Smoothwall for filtering by any chance?
MYK-IT Posted December 12, 2019 Author Posted December 12, 2019 Update. Microsoft Support have advised me, that their 'internal team' have been informed of the issue and they are working on getting it resolved after it has come their attention that the issue is not just specific to us.
PhilWessell Posted December 12, 2019 Posted December 12, 2019 I've used the magic F12 key in chrome and can see that traffic to the Amsterdam servers through our ISP is returning with error 404: The site appears to load successfully over a Virgin Media Business connection.
