"Project to this PC" what hardware is needed to enable this feature?

I have a PC setup in the hall, a standard wired PC running Windows 10 Education. I've seen that Windows 10 can do Miracast hosting (I think this is the protocol it uses).

 

What hardware would I need to allow the PC to accept "Project to this PC" a specific spec wifi card? I thought it'd be nice if guests could project to the PC instead of running cables.

 

or even use a phone?

Does anyone KNOW that they have a wi-fi adapter that supports Wi-FI Direct? (for PC, usb would be good so I can use an extension cable)

 

Do they have to be connected to the same wifi or can it offer an ad-hoc type connection?
