Hi everybody,

A long shot I know but maybe worth it in this forum. My DH has bought himself a printer on EBay!! The first I knew was when it turned up and he asked me to install it.

He has bought it from some guy who deals in printers. It has been serviced by a company called CSL who had a maintanance contract with the last owner. Unfortunately for me the last owner has changed both the admin passcode and the CE code. It is also set up to authenticate via a papercut server.

The default codes i have tried are 12345678 and 1234567812345678 I have also gone to the engineers settings and tried the two CE codes 92729272 and 9272927292729272 none of which work.

I need to clear both the admin and CE codes from the machine and wipe it but obviously can't do that. So this EBay seller has asked me to contact CSL to get name of the last company, which he believes to be a school in Leicester. CSL obviuosly cannot give out this info due to data protection.

I was wondering/hoping that such a school may be a member of this forum. So if you are from Leicester and had a Bizhub C3350 printer on a maintenance contract with CSL and have recently disposed of it please get in touch.

If we can't get in to it then it will be sent back for a refund.

Thanks in advance

Paul

6. Touch [OK].

NOTE• Access attempts to the Service Mode with a CE password is limited to up to 3 times.

If the number of invalid access attempts reaches three, your access is locked.

Until access lock is released, the ServiceMode is not accessible. To release access lock, turning OFF/ON the power switch and rebooting the machine is necessary.
