All you need is a text editor like Notepad and a web browser, which are both already installed on your computer.

 

You should start somewhere like Introduction to HTML

 

Alternatively, get yourself a "Teach Yourself" book and boil the kettle.

 

(And for what it's worth, i'd say that FrontPage is the last place to start )

I'm sorry..he wants webpages, not bloat and proprietary toss.. It's worse than Dreamweaver, and that annoys the tits off me as well. How much junk can you have in code..

 

Another vote for notepad++ here, and books..however, I digress...

I'm just glad Frontpage appears to be dying a death at last..nothing beats code, IMO..it's worth learning if just for debugging value in lessons when kids can't see beyond the GUI.
