Hi Everyone

we currently have a third party spam filter (proofpoint) for our office 365 exchange.

just wondering what everyone else uses for spam filtering

Thanks

Standard Office 365 Spam filters and additional word lists for phishing emails etc

Patterns rule dont seem to work for me - even had Microsoft investigate and after months of email tennis and remote sessions - I opted to ditch the pattern lists and keep normal word lists.

We use Vipre Email Security, which was FuseMail, which was iCritical. Does what it should, never had any issues here and only had a very few occurrences of phishing getting through. Great for checking that an email left or entered our boundary at all. Does offer sandboxing, link rewriting and all that jazz, but we aren't using it yet as it is an extra cost.

Looking at maybe moving to Office 365 Advanced Threat Protection as it offers extras at a tiny extra cost to what we are currently paying. Though undecided. No fault of Vipre, except the added extras are part of ATP at the cost we are paying now. Currently happy where we are though.

Standard Office 365 stuff with advanced regex rules for catching phishing (see the Phishing Emails and Phishing Regex threads in the Security forum). Works well enough - people can always ask to have domains blocked if they get a load of spam.
