A while ago Alex Pearce told all about our PDF case study that we put together, we have now assembled a SharePoint showcase site and we have started hosting events at Twynham. oooh I was only discussing your case study last week as we have CMIS and SharePoint 2007 and want to steal your ideas and systems to make the same for us, well not the same but make use of some of the things you have done.

 

When you say events are they the type where us fellow IT Guys can come and visit and steal your ideas and look at what you have done to make CMIS etc talk to it or more just to show it off? I am keen to use bits of it to allow students to have timetable access, grade access etc from CMIS direct into a page on the SharePoint all about them.

 

Same with the staff pull parts out of CMIS into it such as there timetable, registration groups etc.

Are the CMIS web parts from Serco, or have you created your own?

 

Does anyone know of any Moodle plugins for CMIS ?

If Twynham school are going to be hosting events you should go. I met up with Dave over the Easter holidays and what they have is excellent.
