Windows 10 Education vs Windows 10 Pro Education

Hi All,

 

Anyone know the difference between Windows 10 Education and Windows 10 Pro Education. So far I've found out AppLocker doesn't work in Pro Education but the service for it does exist and runs but AppLocker throws an error. There must be more differences that that?

There are a lot of other things you miss out on with Pro Education compared to Education.

Wait, what? So a product marked as Pro has less features than other products. In this context is Pro short for something other than Professional?

In a nutshell, as far as I can see:

 

Windows 10 Enterprise and Windows 10 Education are, by and large, the same product with some branding differences

Windows 10 Pro and Windows 10 Pro Education are, by and large, the same product with some branding differences

 

So the differences between Enterprise and Pro apply to Education and Pro Education. Not that's confusing or anything.
