Ruckus & Radius not connecting to windows devices but works on everything else

Hi,

 

We have a BYOD set up for both staff and students. Recently all windows devices won't connect to the, but mobile and tablet devices work fine.

 

BYOD-Staff - Doesn't work

BYOD-Student - Doesn't work

Student - Works

Staff - Works

 

the only difference I can find are the BYOD WLANs require a username and password from the students to work.

Check your certificates, different OSs have different requirements. I know Windows 7 requires a valid public certificate (Unless you have Root CA installed). Windows 10 on the other hand doesn't seem to care so long as its in date.

thanks for the reply. I've checked the ruckus zonedirector and it appears no ca certificate is even installed. Where would I acquire one of these?
