FFT Aspire Targets for NEW y7

Hope this is the right place to ask this.

 

Quite new to FFT. Used the FFT procedures to import our new Y7 students into FFT Aspire from SIMs. Gone through the matching and checking stages and everything has gone smoothly. Anybody got any idea how long it takes FFT to generate new estimate grades for Y7 at the start of the year? I have updated other students in other years and their estimate grades appeared overnight. Is it something that takes a while longer for new Y7?

but seriously, you can start checking from the beginning of October onwards for year 7 data.

I spoke to support this morning.

 

The data will be available "at the end of the month, ish".

 

They were working on it in the background as I spoke to them, but I gather they are dependant on the government baselines coming to them at some point in September before they can start to do their bit.

Interesting that you talk about government baselines. No cohort has gone through yet with scaled scores, how are they arriving at baselines? I suspect the same way that everybody else is - making them up

 

That's another story though. Been asked to produce FFT estimates for Y7 and that's what I'm going to do
