Topology Diagram help!!

I am doing little project on topology diagram for my school network. I have no idea what is school diagram look like on topology ..

can some one show me their example of their topology diagram of their school network and what program do they use to diagram.

I've used LucidChart (free version) for network/data typology diagrams before and they've come out pretty well.

I've used Graphviz for some of my maps. Probably more suitable to mapping physical connections rather than VLANs and the like. Nice in that it'll take a list of nodes and connections from text and do the layout automatically.

Other suggestions look good. I've used Dia as well.
