Norphy Posted September 12, 2019 Posted September 12, 2019 Bit of an odd one this. When a user does something in Word (and possibly other Office apps, I don't know) and they try to save the document, if they go to "Save As" then press the Browse button, this appears and doesn't go away: If, instead, they press the "This PC" button underneath it and press on their N: drive, they can save. The permissions on the drive are correct, it's mapped properly and they can do what they need to do in the user area otherwise. They're mapping to a DFS namespace. About half a dozen people have reported this, all at the same site. Any ideas?
blueday Posted September 13, 2019 Posted September 13, 2019 Is this for new documents? There could be something amiss with the default file location for documents. In Word this can be found by going to File then Options, choosing Advanced on then scrolling almost to the bottom where there is a button for File Locations.
