newpersn Posted September 10, 2019 Posted September 10, 2019 Hi, Got a user that uses Outlook 2016 (with Exchange 2016 on prem) every now and then outlook will stop syncing and claim it needs a passwords. If you click on the bottom taskbar and click on "need password" it will reconnect back with Exchange and sync emails. Things we tried - Resetting users' password - Cached mode / Direct Connection with Exchange Server - New outlook profile - Different Computer Kind of running out of things to try. Any ideas?
Roberto Posted September 12, 2019 Posted September 12, 2019 (edited) Unusual Events in event log at this time? On client computer, Exchange server and domain controllers? Does this happen on a regular basis? Hat happens if an OWA session is open at the time the connection drops, what does the outlook connection tool say is happening... Areku Posted September 20, 2019 Posted September 20, 2019 I have occasionally had this when our squid box was denying access to that PC on the ACLs. maybe look at the filtering?
newpersn Posted September 20, 2019 Author Posted September 20, 2019 Both server and client are on the same network. No one else is reporting this problem. :/
