All promethean no longer working?

Hi all

 

Since the Summer Holidays, I've come back and noticed that 6 of our promethean boards are suddenly no longer working.

 

These are the key points.

- All the connections show up in Device Manager, but show a yellow warning sign. Have tried updating drivers.

- None of the connections can be found in ActivDriver

- All the boards use a serial to USB adapter

- Power is definitely being supplied to the board and adapter

 

I fear that a Windows 10 update over the summer has knocked the drivers out, as it has happened to 6 simultaneously...

 

Has this happened to anybody else? Any tips or advice?

usb to serial drivers all ok ? actidriver too ?

 

have you tried removing those adapters and putting them in a different port ?

 

have you switched from 32 bit to 64 bit ? some older converters were not compatible with 64 bit windows when we converted from 32 bit.
