Student emails addresses within SIMS.net

We use Salamander to create users automatically with details from Sims.net

 

Once the users and email addresses have been created we get an email with the details etc...

 

We need to add these new email addresses into Sims.net for student for things like SHMW for Office 365 integration etc.

 

 

So... does any know of a quick and easy way to enter email address on to students details within Sims.net - either by using Salamander or alternatively some kind of import/update within Sims.net?

We also use this for SHMW. We purchased the Salamander SIMS wright back licence. Basically I think the licence cost just gets passed back to capita to let Salamander update fields in sims. Then every time a student account is created they update SIMS with the email address.

SIMS provide a bulk import tool to do this. Just imports a CSV by running a database patch.

Capita have a REST API for SIMS so you could just use the API that's available.

I've just discovered https://simsbulkimport.uk/ by @matt40k. A CSV containing admission number, email address and email location (work or home) worked for me.
