Surface Laptop 2 vs Surface Book 2

Question new job says I need to choose a Surface Laptop 2 vs. Surface Book 2. Which one

Surface laptop is known as one of the best Windows laptops on the market at the moment, size, weight and speed etc.

 

But the Book has a dedicated GPU and can turn into a tablet.

 

If you need GPU horsepower = Book. Otherwise Laptop.

In all seriousness I would go Surface book, simply because it actually has some IO that doesn't require it to become a donglebook (well it has 2 standard USB and a USB C port!)
