It already exists? Turn on Single-Window mode in settings

You tried it with the photoshop theme on? Our teachers preferred that way so we changed it over for them (Not tried it with latest version yet but don't see why it shouldn't still work)

 

Edit - Just tested it and still seems to work fine with 2.10 on a quick play I did:

 

 

Obviously not going to be 100%, but a more easier for people who are used to one layout etc
