ParentMail chat

I’ve been asked to look at parentmail chat as the office staff tried to use it and all they got was a spinning wheel.

 

Looking at the Sophos XG logs doesn’t show anything blocked that I can see and all traffic to vcc-eu2.8x8.com is allowed.

 

Any ideas?

Could it just be that there were no agents available, with it being the start of term for a lot of schools today?

Could be, but it was first reported not working last week.

Have you checked it from an unfiltered connection like a mobile hotspot? Make sure it's your end first!

It was working fine yesterday. So if it still isn’t working for you, it is local issue.

I've had a school on this morning saying the sync between parentmail and SIMS hasn't worked, so when I've checked this morning parentmail.co.uk isn't working at all. I've checked on unfiltered devices and it appears to be them. Does anyone have any news?

I think I am right in saying they delayed turning on the MIS Sync again until today. Schools were emailed.
