5nowman Posted August 26, 2019 Posted August 26, 2019 (edited) All, Hope you are all having a good summer. I got a situation which others might have had. Windows 10 LTSC Dell 5260 all in one has intel uhd 630 drivers Intel no longer bundle the Intel® Graphics Control Panel !! you need to download it from the microsoft store (I kid you not). Windows 10 LTSC has no store - we need dual resolutions (one for pc one for projector - which can only be set using the intel control panel). Anyone managed to get an offline installed? I tried to search the net and came to nothing! Any advice? Please let me know. https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/p/intel-graphics-control-panel/9ndlclmmtmrc?activetab=pivot:reviewstab Many thanks and kind regards. 5nowman Edited August 26, 2019 by 5nowman
snagrat Posted August 26, 2019 Posted August 26, 2019 Can you not use Win+P to set the output to Duplicate?
5nowman Posted August 26, 2019 Author Posted August 26, 2019 Can you not use Win+P to set the output to Duplicate? They Duplicate. The projectors need a different resolution to fit the promethean screens. PC's require a different resolution. You could do all that from the intel control panel not the windows 10 one. This is bad.. hope others read it and preempt this issue.
Steve21 Posted August 26, 2019 Posted August 26, 2019 Any reason you can’t just change them in Windows settings? There’s option for dual resolution under the advanced settings Steve
ass17 Posted August 30, 2019 Posted August 30, 2019 (edited) We had the same issue with new Dell 7460 AIO, our issue was because we are using 4K Interactive displays , the default Hertz is 30, so creates flickering issues in certain apps. In the new DCH driver set, yes they have dropped the older CPL style app for a Windows Store app, but doesn’t support changing the refresh rate. So in the end I decided to use the previous driver from Dell that was not labelled as DCH. Moving forward I’m sure Intel will beef up the Store App for future builds. This one we used is for UHD 610 and 630 intel graphics, so should be ok for you. http:// https://downloads.dell.com/FOLDER04898022M/3/Intel-UHD-Graphics-610-630-Series-Driver_4D4T6_WIN_23.20.16.4973_A01.EXE I can’t remember how I installed it but if the normal way fails, just extract the driver and force the install via device manager. nicholab Posted September 20, 2019 Posted September 20, 2019 I just tried the new DCH driver on an HP PRO 3500 and it tells me "This computer does not meet the minimum requirements for installing the software." Well It the same machine and I not taken the Intel graphics off the board. I just got a new Windows version on there.
Jaan Posted September 20, 2019 Posted September 20, 2019 I've noticed we're having these issues. LTSC using 4k screen and Intel 630 chipsets. The screens keep going off. Mix results with WIN+P. Missing intel control panel and unable to install it from INTEL. hmmmm
nicholab Posted September 20, 2019 Posted September 20, 2019 Microsoft and Intel seem to have broken the way driver install. Even if I select the driver it does not work.
Jaan Posted October 8, 2019 Posted October 8, 2019 Its powerpoint thats the issue somehow. We asked a staff member to use Google sheets, it has been fine for weeks...... as soon as we asked them to use Powerpoint. the issue returned.

If you got dual screens have you disabled presenter mode? That's the normal one that messes with it as it automatically changes how the dual screens present when you go into presentations We disabled that view GPO etc and no problems Under the Slide Show tab it's the "Use Presenter View" one that normally did it for us, might be worth disabling it and seeing? Steve
Steve21 Posted October 9, 2019 Posted October 9, 2019 Err that's a different one I think, pretty sure we did it via: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\16.0\Powerpoint\Options\UseMonMgr Edit - Looking back at one of my older posts seems so: Hive HKEY_CURRENT_USER Key path Software\Microsoft\Office\16.0\PowerPoint\Options Value name UseMonMgr Value type REG_DWORD Value data 0x0 (0) Deploy it site wide Unticks Use Presenter Mode But there are a few options depending on what you wanted, might be worth trying one and then the other, depending if you want presenter mode (with extend) or just no presenter mode in the first place Steve 1
