SIMs register help needed

Hi there, i'm wondering if anyone can help, or if you've had a similar situation and found a better work around. It think this can get confusing so i'll try to explain it as clearly as i can.

 

Situation:

We are using SIMs and we have a period of the day which we call enrichment time. This runs Period 4 everyday for years 7 & 8, we are also running a two week timetable.

 

During period 4 students have opted themselves into a selection of subject activities, so far so good.

 

The problem i'm facing is a way of putting this into SIMs so that we can have registers and class lists for staff but each day the activities and Staff change. We have 4 class codes in each year group (eg 7Ech1- 7Ech4, 8Ech1-8Ech4) but the class list changes each day.

 

So far all I've managed to do is to allocate all subjects offered each day to every student and then go back in to each students one at a time and remove the clashes for the three subject activities that they have not chosen for that day, This is then done 10 times for each students over the 2 week timetable.

 

This kind of works for the teachers taking the class register, but admin cannot print class lists as sims allocates all students to all enrichment class codes.

 

I'm hoping there is a simpler way of allocating these registers, can anyone help?
