techie17 Posted August 19, 2019 Posted August 19, 2019 Hi I have around 3 HP 280 G1 desktops that take ages to authenticate to the network when starting up and more often that not display as (Unauthenticated). We have lenove clients which are fine so it seems like its just the HP ones. They are on Windows 10 and have the latest drivers on them and we operate VLANs on the network. Does anyone have ideas on what is causing it? Many thanks
oododkodkdo Posted August 19, 2019 Posted August 19, 2019 Maybe it’s specification or what type of cat wire do you use. Refresh the systems on SCCM or MDT and see if that makes a difference.
techie17 Posted August 19, 2019 Author Posted August 19, 2019 Thanks. Ive just tried a USB ethernet adapter and it works everytime so it appears to something with the NIC adapters on those machines. but no idea what.
Driftingforlife Posted August 19, 2019 Posted August 19, 2019 Have you turned off fast boot in windows 10? That has been giving us some trouble with a few PCs.
