Anyone use Aps Ethos on Silent install?

Hi all

 

Trying to deploy Aps Ethos on mutliple PCs (and utimately into MDT. I've ran into trouble in test commandline thats menat to run the program silently, instead it pops up with the non silent setup screen:

 

 

Any folks come across this?

This rings bells... We've got a laser cutter which uses Aps Ethos, I think?

Been a couple of years since I did it, but I'm sure that the setup that is on the disk doesn't have a silent mode.

If you look at the contents of the disk, you'll see the individual programs which the setup.exe runs if you pick them.

Those ones are silent capable.

Yes indeed you are right, there was another setup folder in Ethos that had the silent switches...

We had tons of problems with our version installing silently

 

My script is the following

had to script in the install certificate key

had to push out a boot.ini for the license key server

The hasplm.ini needed to be modified for each machine as the computer names needed to be different , so the VBS in the script gets %computername% and modify's it.

 

This was for Windows 7 , but the script works fine for windows 10 also.

 

IRC windows 7 requires this update "Windows6.1-KB2921916-x64.msu" also
