Hello, can anyone recommend a make model of a non-interactive panel to replace classroom projectors and speakers. I am really looking at no smaller than 75". Smart non interactive panels are £2000+, Curry's TV's maybe £600, but how long would they last? Has anyone get anything else suitable for a bit of school life?

Thanks

will they have some kind of toughened screen? do you think they would be under any kind of warranty being used commercially in a school..

Thanks

I'd maybe have a look at interactive displays, even if you don't use the feature. I think at that size nowadays the cost is around the same, or rumoured that interactives may even be cheaper due to demand....

As both @SamDavis and @localzuk have mentioned, although you may not want / need interactivity, they may well still be cheaper than non-interactive / commercial displays! Even just for the toughened screen / robustness alone (and usual 5-year warranty).

Alternative would be commercial grade TV / Display Screens, and even then they are about £1,599 upwards (for TV). For Example, https://rocheav.co.uk/75hfl2899s

hi there viewsonic look good have a look at this ViewBoard IFP7550

We had a 30+ of these ViewSonic screens (combination of 65" IFP6550 & 75" IFP7550) installed a few months ago. There were on promotion at the time, whereby we got 6 free (i think a similar offer may still be available?) as well as bulk discount.

I know that the IFP6560 / IFP7560 range is now available, whereby the 'touch' is within the glass - but currently a lot more expensive.

We use 65 inch normal TV's, normally around the 500-600 mark thesedays, we've been absolutely fine with all of them bar the one which had a cup of tea thrown over it, they've been no better/worse than the commerical panels at another site

Richer Sounds have got 75 inch LG for a 1,000
