In Wales next week for work....

What is there for me to do? Tuesday I will be Cardiff (in the evening), and Wednesday I will be in Swansea (in the evening). What is there for me to do other than the cinema? I've seen most everything in there at the moment, and what's left is the hindi films which don't interest me. Something cheap/free would be fantastic. Suggestions welcome!

Go to Cardiff Bay and wander around, it's a lovely place. If you're a Doctor Who / Torchwood fan there are lots of sights from the shows to see as well!

I might just do that. Going to see what is about and pick up a post card for my kids each (they love postcards). But I may just have to have a meander, and re-open netflix or something! lol

I asked my lad who lives in Cardiff, he said that a meander about looking at the sites, then maybe something to eat at Blue Honey Night Cafe https://bluehoney.co/ or perhaps cocktails at The Dead Canary The Dead Canary - Award Winning Cocktail Bar Cardiff.

I lived in Cardiff for years, really miss the place. You could go to a board game night in north Cardiff: https://rulesofplay.co.uk/pages/board-game-bar (not entiely sure if its tonight).

 

I know you say you dont fancy the cinema but what about a alternative cinema: https://www.chapter.org/whats-on/?todaydate=07/30/2019 It can be a little arty but I've met film directors etc and actually its good place to have something to eat and a beer.

 

Otherwise get the water taxi from the bay into town and have a wander through Bute Park or even drive upto Bute park and if its not too late have row of a boat?
