System Restore - DPM to VMware failing - Element Not Found

Hi all,

 

I made a mess on a server and corrupted the C drive.

 

I've saved the system restore backup to a network drive but when trying to start the formatting process, it fails with an error: Element Not Found (0x80070490).

 

Done some googling and I can only find one solution which is to add additional hard drive disks to the VM as the original server was a P2V but this hasn't been successful.

 

Has anyone come across this error before?

 

EDIT: Resolved - Make sure the disk you are restoring too is larger then the system restore point!
