Outlook 365: Status keeps reverting to "Away"

Minor niggle, as I doubt anyone else in the domain notices such things, but it's bugging me. My Outlook 365 status keeps setting itself to "Away". I don't use that calendar, so there's nothing there to be causing it to set to "Away".

 

To correct the status, I have to go "Offline" and then "Online" (all other options immediately revert to "Away"). This only lasts for a short time, though. Also the "Status" area doesn't display properly, though this could be because I have the temerity to use Firefox.

 

 

Anyone got any ideas? I can't find anything suggesting that this is a common problem.
